We encourage all pilgrims to visit our small, but interesting Exhibition Hall, adjacent
to the Shrine. It houses the Golden Rose awarded by Pope Benedict XVI to the Shrine,
and the golden chalice donated by Pope John Paul II, plus other historical and pictorial
OPENING TIMES & SERVICES
The Shrine is mainly a House of Prayer; offering liturgical services and periods
of recollection. With time, it has developed a distinct and particular spirituality.
It has embraced an intercessory prayer-life for the needs of Europe. By so doing
we have followed the requests of successive Roman Pontiffs.
The Shrine is totally
run by clergy and great volunteers! With whatever resources are available we endeavour
to bring some peace and comfort to those who enter the Shrine and beyond.
The Shrine is available during the day for anyone seeking a time of reflection, a
time of prayer or organised visits and presentations.
The Shrine Is also visited
by groups of pilgrims, Prayer Groups, Associations and schools throughout the year.
If you have any special requirement, we ask for your kind assistance in getting in
touch with us in advance so that we are in the best position to welcome everyone.
