The Shrine of Our Lady of Europe is situated at Europa Point in Gibraltar, one of
the southern-most tips of Europe - the point where you can see the Mediterranean
Sea meeting with the Atlantic Ocean in the Straits of Gibraltar.
Travelling to Gibraltar
There are daily flights to Gibraltar from UK airports (Gatwick and Luton).
If you are driving into Gibraltar, drive from the frontier along Queensway and Europa
Road, and then towards the Lighthouse. You will find clear directions en-route indicating
the way to the Shrine.
Many pilgrims on foot, catch No.2 Bus which covers the Market Place to Europa Point
The Shrine is the home of the ancient statue of Our Lady of Europe, Principal Patroness
of Gibraltar. The statue dates back 700 years. Visitors range from faithful devotees
to those seeking a time of silent reflection and tourists.
